I think it is waaaay better than Fallout 3. I spent hours on both games but Oblivion actualy made me call in sick days to work because I would wake up and be jonesin hard for it.

I still hear the soundtrack in my head that would play when you were opening doors and the darker music when you were going into a cave....

I want a PARTY feature. I never talk to friends who are playing different games, just send a message to hook up.

Now, being able to have 5 buddies in a party, then go hit some multiplayer would be awesome. I really hate having to mute 15 people when I get into a lobby, or try and talk over little Johhny from Jersey when I am doing domination or something.

All I want is to be able to NOT hear all the dumbasses and be able to hear all my friends. Is that really so ...

this should only be played on PC.

When you play with friends. I am the sniper/camper and watch over my runner and gunners. I don't play that deathmatch crap because war is not about just showing up and killing people whilst running in a circle.

I prefer the challenge modes. CTF, etc. So, yes, I do camp. I find a great spot, get a great rifle and headshot all the dumbass running around with knifes and dual wields. Don't want to keep dying? Then GO A DIFFERENT WAY. Nothing makes me laugh harder than killing the ...

My very first gaming console was the original Atari. Then the Nintendo, Gamecube, PS1, Xbox, PS2, Dreamcast, 360 then I converted to the beloved PS3 and was pretty much of the mind that was the best hardware choice for games.

Then I went to a buddies house and played Crysis. I just about shat myself. He popped in a couple other games that were on consoles and PC and the difference in graphics was amazing.

I got a new ASUS laptop for xmas, has a 1G Nvidia graphics...

is def a great game but the one thing that drove me bonkers was when the QTE icons were all swirling around and being jittery and bouncy and I would push the wrong one!

Plus, and I am not trying to "rain" on the parade, but I do not understand why they do split screen when you have to do a lot of QTE. I guess I am just old but when I am in a fight sequence or something and the slipt screen is up, I completely miss the "other" side because I have my eyes dead...

Graphics are not everything but they sure are SOMETHING. The gameplay in F3 was great but with games like Uncharted, GoW3, Alan Wake, etc, devs really need to step it up.

I mean, Farcry 2 looked killer and was open world. Yes, I know it didn't have near the story and all that but still....

I am just at that point where I can't stand playing a game if it looks crappy.

And to the above poster who said Bethesda is working on ES5....HELL YES! I am DYIN...

And something else that is almost as annoying is having to read stories on games I reeeeeally want to play YEARS before they come out.

I swear, it all started with KZ2 for me. Months of avoiding spoilers, anticipation, hearing of possible delays and feeling my heart drop just kills me.

I used to think the grey making its way through my scalp came from the woman....not so...

I wish I could just get my hands on a MIB flashy thingy and use it right ...

I rented 'cause I wasn't sure what it would be and ended up getting it for the PS3 (damn you GameFly get PC games already!).

Reviewer is spot on with graphics and whatnot. Looks same ole same ole. Splicers are more intense but it's (to me anyway) is like a huge expansion pack. Save, the drill, it didn't feel any different being a Daddy compared to being a human. The dual plasmid/weapon is great and that for me made the game.

Overall, it was more same ole same o...

You really prefer a controller to m/k? I was like that on my very first game (from console to PC) due to it being like an extension of my hand. Then, I just broke down and started using a good laser logitech mouse and keyboard and man-o-man are my kills so much more accurate.

I can never go back to controller (for PC).

And I wonder, will this cause some heating issues on the 360?

I'm not trying to egg anyone one but I have had serious hardware issues in the past, enough to make me craigs list the unit and grab a PS3 and PC rig...so I am pretty skeptical when it comes to the performance of the MS console.

That the story and feel of DI as a h/s is very appealing and without something to compare it to, it would even be considered somewhat fresh.

However, the GOW series is what put the word "epic" into gamers mouths. The story, voice acting, the GRAPHICS, the BOSSES, the attention to detail and innovative moves and whatnot simply make GOW 3 the must have.

Off Topic, I gotta say I am also pretty excited for Lost Planet 2. I have been waiting with baited bre...

I am a PS fanboy and I picked this up day 1 for PC. Hell ya it'a a great game. Some minor defects here or there but a great RGP nontheless...

So what's your point? The food chain is quite simple:

PC > PS3 > 360.

End of story.

Have you even played a GoW game? I have played the demo for DI and ya, it's not some cheesy POS but it is nowhere near the calibur that GoW brings to the table.

Have you seen the online clips? Do you know of the epic boss battles that no other game to this day has even remotely come close to? (SOTC excluded)

Not trying to be a dik, but DI is nowhere near the complexity that is Kratos and his saga. The story, the voice acting, the GRAPHICS....it is to the word EPI...

I was about 6 hours into DA:O and picked up ME2 and it's killing me not having four hands to play both. DA is a blast but man, o man, ME2 is top of the food chain. I'm into this more than Oblivion or Uncharted and for me that is saying something.

the 3rd game I picked up since I finaly got a gamin rig. Crysis being the first and DA: O being the 2nd. I cannot believe how good this game looks and am stoked I can run it on high settings. On a laptop (ASUS) to boot!

I actualy haven't even turned on my playstation in 2 weeks but MAG showed up yesterday from GameFly so now I have to decide to either play that or keep on playing ME:2...or finish Crysis...or continue DA:O....

hmmm decisions.

I got an ASUS laptop for xmas. It has the 1g Nvidia GTX260, 6 gigs of DDR2 (wish it was DDR3) and a dual core. It can run Crysis at high settings with some framerate drops. I adjusted the physics down a tad and now its smooth like butter.

All for $999.99 at Best Buy. That, to me, is a pretty cheap deal on a decent gaming rig that is a laptop to boot.

EDIT: And after playing Crysis I will only go back to consoles for exclusives (PS3). The game is frigging unbelie...
